Please note: for book-length manuscripts, we have a 50 page submission minimum.
Evaluation - General assessment of your manuscript. We will comment on broad
categories, and make recommendations for areas that may require further
attention. Please note that a page for all services is defined in the Submissions
section of this document.
The price for this service is $1.00 per page.
Proofreading - Find and correct typographical errors, errors in spelling, grammar,
punctuation, and the like.
The price for this service is $2.00 per page.
Critique - Thorough analysis of your manuscript. We will evaluate your work,
concentrating on specific areas such as character development, plot, dialogue,
word selection, punctuation, grammar, redundancies, and other areas where your
manuscript may need further development.
The price for this service is $2.00 per page.
Line-by-Line Edit - (Includes Critique) - For hardcopy submissions, each page
of your manuscript will be read and annotated (blue-pen edit) accordingly.
Comments will be written directly on each page. Additions and deletions will
be noted. Suggestions on story flow, character development, transition
between paragraphs, scenes, and chapters will be made. We will concentrate
on making your work more concise, focusing on use of active voice, elimination
of adjectives and adverbs, substituting stronger nouns and verbs in their place.
The critique is page-specific, meaning we will denote specific corrections made
to your manuscript by page number and paragraph.
You may also submit your manuscript as an e-mail attachment or on a diskette.

Electronic Line-by-Line Edit - (Includes Critique) - The editing and critique
are the same as the Line-by-Line Edit, except the corrections, and comments
are done electronically, using Microsoft Word's "Track Changes" feature.

Please Note: Any other services, such as ghostwriting or complete rewrites will
be $5.00 per double-spaced page or more, depending on the scope of the project.
